Jubo League calls hartal in Rangamati for Thursday

Rangamati district unit Jubo League, youth wing of ruling Awami League, on Wednesday announced a daylong hartal for Thursday protesting at the murder of its leader Arbindu Chakma.
On Wednesday, a daylong hartal was observed in Jurachhari upazila of the district enforced by upazila unit of Chhatra League.
All business establishments remained shut in the morning while public transports including water vehicles stayed off the road.

Earlier on Tuesday night, Jurachhari upazila Jubo League

unit general secretary Arbindu Chakma was shot to death by unidentified miscreants at Mitingachhari Bazar.
