Action against attackers on Fakhrul's motorcade: Quader

Obaidul Quader, the road transport and bridges minister, on Sunday said tough action would be taken against those who were involved in attacking the motorcade of BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam at Chittagong.

"It's not sure who were involved in the attack... but it's an offence...We are looking into the matter and tough actions would be taken against the attackers," he told the newsmen after visiting BRTA Mobile Court activities on the city's Airport road.

Quader also said, "I've already talked with inspector general of police and also talked with deputy commissioner and additional police super of Chittagong about the matter and urged them to investigate the matter."
