Munshiganj bus plunge kills 3

Three people, including two women, were killed and three others injured when a bus plunged into a roadside ditch at Raushunia in Sirajdikhan upazila of Munshiganj on Wednesday, reports UNB.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Kazi Maksuda Lima, senior assistant superintendent of Munshiganj police, said the Tongibari-bound 'SF Paribahan' bus from Dhaka skidded off the road and fell into the ditch around 4:00pm as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving six people injured.

The injured were taken to Sirajdikhan Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared three of them dead and referred one to a Dhaka hospital for better treatment.
