Rohingya man dies of TB in Cox’s Bazar

UNB . Dhaka | Update:

A Rohingya refugee succumbed to Tuberculosis (TB) on Wednesday at the Balukhali camp in Cox’s Bazar.

The deceased is Nur Mohammad, 50, son of Fakir Ahmad, hailing from Polashganj in Rakhine State of Myanmar.

Victim’s nephew Shahidul Amin said Nur had long been suffering from TB, which finally claimed his life in the afternoon around 4:30pm.

Nur, whose wife was killed in the persecution by Myanmar Army, fled into Bangladesh 15 days earlier.

He was undergoing treatment at Kutupalong medical camp.
