Cop killed in Magura road accident

A police man was killed as a truck crushed a motorcycle in Magura sadar upazila on Friday.

The deceased is Amirul Islam, 30, an inhabitant at Rajdharpur village of Jhenidah sadar upazila, reports BSS.

The police said the accident took place in Alomkhali area on Magura-Jhenidah road early in the morning when Amirul was returning to Magura police line, leaving him dead on the spot.

The police have seized the truck.
