2 youths killed in road accident

Two young men were killed in a road accident at Kanaipur on Dhaka-Khulna Highway in Faridpur sadar upazila on Thursday night.

The deceased are bike driver Rimon Mandol, 18, and pillion rider Rasel Talukdar, 20, reports UNB.

Witnesses said the accident took place when a motorcycle crashed into a stationary covered van around 10:00pm, leaving them dead on the spot.

Faridpur fire service and civil defence station manager M Saifuzzaman said on information, fire fighters appeared at the spot and sent the bodies to hospital.
