Education ministry staffer ‘goes missing’ from city

An education ministry staffer reportedly went missing from the city on Thursday afternoon.

Family members alleged Nasir Uddin, upper division clerk of the ministry, remained traceless after 4:00pm on Thursday, reports UNB.

Nasir's brother-in-law Nayem Ahmed Julhas filed a general diary with Banani police station in this connection.

Nasir Uddin, a resident of Lake City Concord of Khilkhet area in the city, last communicated with his family members around 12:23pm and said he was going to office from Banani.

Later, his mobile phone was found switched off after 4:00pm, Julhas said.
