Husband, wife killed in C’nawabganj road crash

A man and his wife were killed in a road accident at Ranihati on Chapainawabganj-Sonamasjid highway in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj on Saturday noon, reports UNB.

The deceased were identified as Aslam Uddin alias Enamul, 65, and his wife Miniara Begum, 55-residents of Islampur area of the district town.

Shibganj police station officer-in-charge Habibul Islam Habib said when the couple was going to Rashiknagar village of the upazila by a motorbike, a truck hit their motorbike around 12:15pm leaving the duo dead on the spot.

On information, the police recovered the bodies and seized the truck.
