Bodies of two Bangladeshi crew members on Monday were found in an Iranian oil tanker accident off the China’s east coast, reports the Kathmandu Tribune.

According to the Nepalese news outlet, bodies of three out of 30 Iranians were also recovered in the incident.

The Sanchi, which was carrying 111,000 tonnes of light crude oil from Iran, collided with Hong Kong-registered bulk freighter the CF Crystal in early January, setting off a desperate race by authorities to search for survivors and stave off a massive environmental catastrophe, the report added.

Meanwhile, quoting the authorities, the Kathmandu Tribune said, three oil slicks with a total surface area of 332 square kilometres were spotted.
