Youth caught red-handed with leaked question paper

The law enforcement has detained a young man with a set of leaked question papers in Sadar upazila of Madaripur.

Zubaidul Islam, 24, a university student, was detained with a soft copy of the SSC examination paper of English second part.

The law enforcement claimed that the copy of the question paper found in his mobile phone is similar to the original paper of the examination.

A laptop and handset in Zubaidul’s possession were seized while he was on a Kuakata-bound Eagle Paribahan bus.

The private university student, Zubaidul, is from Amtali upazila of Barguna district.

“A certain Liton Bairagi informed us that they have arrested a question paper leaker at Mostapur bus stop,” said Madaripur additional deputy commissioner (revenue) Syed Faruk Ahammed. 

He also said, “Later, we went there and detained him with question and answer papers of the examination.”

Madaripur Sadar Model police station official Kamrul Hassan said now police is trying to catch other members of the gang.

Police are preparing a case against the Zubaidul, the police man added.

About the question leak, Zubaidul said, “I used to exchange exam suggestions through a Facebook group named ‘Secret SSC 2K18’ in exchange of money. I’m not involved with any question paper leaks.’
