The High Court has formed two committees to investigate and prevent the leaking of ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam question papers.

Following repeated question paper leaks, the HC on Thursday took the decision after a writ petition was filed in this regard.

A five-member administrative committee headed by professor of BUET Mohammad Kaykobad has been formed. The Dhaka district and sessions judge will lead the other committee.

Earlier on the same day, the HC ordered judicial inquiry into the allegations of question paper leakage in the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations, reports UNB.

Following a writ petition, an HC bench comprising justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury and justice Md Iqbal Kabir also directed the authorities concerned to form an administrative probe body to look into the allegations.

The court issued a rule asking the authorities concerned to explain why their failure and inaction to prevent the leakage of question papers should not be declared illegal and unlawful, said Supreme Court lawyer Ainunnahar Siddiqa, one of the writ petitioners.
