2 minors among 3 hurt in gas cylinder blast

Three people including a balloon vendor were injured in a gas cylinder blast on Government Rajendra College campus in Fairdpur on Saturday morning.

The injured are Azim Talukdar, 67, balloon vendor, his grandson Hridoy Sheikh, 16, and Shamrat, 10, reports UNB.

Quoting witnesses, police said a gas cylinder went off with a big bang around 7:30am on the college campus just the before bringing out the Mangal Shobhajatra leaving them injured.

The injured were taken to Faridpur Medical College Hospital, police said.
