3 ‘JMB men’ held in Narayanganj

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three suspected members of banned Islamic outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Bandar area in Narayanganj on Tuesday night, reports UNB.

The identities of the arrested persons could not be known immediately.

Tipped off, a team of RAB-11 conducted a drive in the area and arrested three members including a woman of the banned militant outfit, said Alep Uddin, senior assistant superintendent of police.

Details of the arrestees will be informed at a press briefing of the elite force scheduled to be held around 11:00am.
