Bangladesh’s state minister for youth and sports Arif Khan Joy came under attack allegedly by some BNP supporters in Westminster area of London on Wednesday afternoon.

Police also arrested two people from the spot following the incident.

Witnesses said Joy came under attack by a group of men when he tried to enter Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre-2 while walking past a protest rally of UK BNP.

Joy, however, was rescued by some other BNP men after he had rushed to the nearby Barclays Bank to take shelter.
