Road crash kills 1

A human hauler driver was killed as a truck hit his vehicle on Domar-Dimla road at Tinbat village in Dimla upazila of Nilphamari on Saturday morning.

The deceased is Abul Kashem, 55, of the village.

A goods-laden truck hit the human hauler around 8.30am, leaving Kashem dead on the spot, said Dimla police station officer-in-charge Moazzem Hossain.

A passenger of the human hauler was also injured in the incident, he added.

The truck driver fled the scene, OC Moazzem said.
