Manikganj road crash kills 3

Three people were killed and 20 others injured in a road accident at Cross-Bridge area of Ghior upazila in Manikganj on Tuesday afternoon, reports UNB.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Rifat Rahman Shamim, superintendent of Manikganj police, said the accident took place around 3:30pm as the bus tried to overtake a motorcycle and hit a roadside tree after losing control, leaving three dead on the spot and 20 others injured. Of them six were injured critically.

On information, police rushed in and sent the corpses to Manikganj General Hospital for autopsy.
