Special bus service ticket sales begin Tuesday

Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) will start sale of advance tickets of its special service on Tuesday, aiming to ease journey of Eid holidaymakers.

Road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader came up with the announcement on Monday after a meeting with the officials of BRTC and depot managers at its head office in Motijheel.

BRTC will operate 904 special buses while 54 buses will be kept standby to meet emergency demand, he added.
