Biker killed in Jhenaidah road crash

A motorcyclist was killed as a microbus hit his vehicle in Arappur area of Jhenaidah town on Monday, reports UNB.

The deceased was identified as Azizur Rahman, 40, son of Habibur Rahman of Kumrabaria village of the district.

Office of Jhenaidah Fire Service Station Dilip Kumar Sarkar said Azizur was returning to the town from Kushtia and as he reached Arappur area, his motorbike got hit from the behind by the microbus. He was seriously injured then.

When the locals rushed him to Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital the on-duty physician declared him dead, Dilip said.

The body was sent to hospital morgue for autopsy.
