Marma girl found dead in Bandarban

An indigenous girl was found dead at her house in Onglari Karbari Para in Bandarban's Lamaupazila on Sunday, according to UNB.

The deceased was Mya Hla U Marma, 19, daughter of Kalong Marma. She appeared in this year's HSC examination.

Getting no response from Mela's room after repeated attempts, her father informed the matter to police, said Oppela Raju Naha, officer-in-charge of Lama police station.

Later, police recovered in the morning and sent it to Bandarban Sadar Hospital for an autopsy.

The reason behind the killing could not be known immediately, the OC added.
