Photo: Dipu MalakarSome leaders of Bangladesh General Students' Rights Protection Council, the platform of students that led the quota reform movement, were physically assaulted allegedly by some Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists in front of Dhaka University Central Library on Saturday, reports UNB.

BCL is the student wing of ruling Bangladesh Awami League aka AL.

Quota protesters and some witnesses alleged that some BCL activists suddenly swooped on the quota protesters.

Later, the BCL men drove out the quota reform demonstrators from the area and took position in front of the library on DU campus.
