Couple electrocuted in Joypurhat

A couple was electrocuted in Rangta village of Joypurhat sadar upazila on Tuesday.

The deceased are Mujibar Rahman, 46, son of a certain Abdul Aziz of the village, and his wife Karima Khatun, 37.

The couple came in contact of a live wire, set up at their poultry farm for killing foxes, and died on the spot, said Joyputhat police station officer-in-charge Selim Hossain.
