City road crash kills 3

Three people were killed and seven others injured following a head-on collision between a bus and a humanhauler at Beribadh in the city's Rupnagar area on Tuesday morning, reports UNB.

Two of the deceased are Hannan Hawladar, 22, the human hauler driver and son of Siraj Hawladar of Mirpur, and Tawhid, 10, son of Mokter Hossain while the identity of the other deceased, an elderly man aged around 65, could not be known immediately, said sub-inspector Shyamol of Rupnagar police station.

The bus hit the three-wheeler near the Bangladesh Water Development Board office, leaving 10 passengers of the human hauler injured, said the SI.

Four of the injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where physicians declared three of them dead, said sub-inspector Bacchu Miah of the hospital police outpost.
