Coca-Cola launches jeera flavoured ‘RimZim’

Multinational beverage company Coca-Cola on Sunday launched a new jeera flavoured beverage tilted 'RimZim' to provide consumers with homemade beverage formulation into packaged forms.

The new soft drink item of the renowned company was formally opened at a programme at Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC).

The new drink item launch adds to the suite of beverage options that are currently available for the Coca-Cola's consumers in the country, including Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite, Fanta, Kinley Water, Kinley Soda, Coca-Cola Zero and Sprite Zero.

PET bottle 250 ml RimZim is the first being rolled out in key towns of the country at a price of Tk 20 and soon be available all over the country.

Coca-Cola Bangladesh Ltd managing director Shadab Khan, International Beverages Private Ltd managing director Tapas Kumar Mondal, Abdul Momen Beverages CEO Robbert West, and International Beverages Private Ltd director Pankaj Sinha were, among others, present at the programme.

Speaking at the programme, Shadab Khan said as the consumers' choices are constantly evolving, it is important for Cocoa-Cola to add new offerings to its portfolio as it nurturse the existing brands.

"With this launch, we hope to bring to Bangladeshi consumers a perfect match to complement the traditional festive Bangalee spicy food the country and provide them with a taste of home even while away from home," he added.
