IEB officials meet Engineers Australia GM

A delegation of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) Australia chapter recently met Engineers Australia general manger Greg Ewing at Engineers Australia at Chatswood, a press release of the organisation said.

They discussed about the contribution of Bangladeshi engineers to various fields in engineering and technology in Australia. 

They also talked about the challenges Bangladeshi engineers face while completing Competency Demonstration Reports (CDR) for Engineers Australia (EA), migration assessments and accreditations like chartered professional engineer (CPE).

In the meeting, Engineers Australia’s Greg said he was very impressed with contribution of Bangladeshi engineers to the Australian industry.

He gave a detailed summary of the process which EA and IEB chapter Australia can take to create a bridge between EA and Bangladeshi  engineers communities to work together to take advantage of all available opportunities.

Convener Saiful Islam led the Bangladesh delegation. Other officials were Abdul Matin, AHM Kamruzzaman, Siddiqur Rahman, Neaz Sheikh, Ashim Chowdhury and Hasan Ziad.
