US-Bangla Airlines celebrated four years of its service on Monday, reports UNB. 

US-Bangla, now one of the leading private airlines in Bangladesh, started its operation with its maiden flight from Dhaka to Jessore on 17 July, 2014. 

With the motto "Fly Fast-Fly Safe", US-Bangla Airlines commenced its operation with two Dash8-Q400 aircraft. Within four years of its successful operation, currently US-Bangla Airlines owns seven aircraft in its fleet out of which, four are Boeing 737-800 and three are Dash8-Q400. Within this year, more two Boeing 737-800 and two Boeing 777-200 ER aircraft will be joining its fleet as well, said a press release.  Internationally, US-Bangla Airlines Operates to Kolkata, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok and Guangzhou from Dhaka and to Muscat, Doha and Kolkata from Chittagong.

In the domestic region, it is operating from Dhaka to Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Jessore, Saidpur, Sylhet, Barisal and Rajshahi routes. 

Within a very short time US-Bangla Airlines, the release said, will be operating in Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Riyadh, Hongkong, Chennai, Delhi and many more.   

Since its first operation US-Bangla has already operated around 42,000 flights successfully in domestic and international routes which stand as a landmark in the aviation industry of Bangladesh. 

Currently more than 330 flights are being operated weekly. More than 1400 effective workforces are employed here. 

In the past four years, US-Bangla has achieved the most prestigious award - 'Best Airline in Bangladesh-2016 by PATA, Best Airline of the Year-2015 in Domestic Sector' by Bangladesh Monitor. 

US-Bangla also received 'Best Domestic Airline of the Year-2014 and 2015' by the Travelers Forum.
