Luna Shamsuddoha new chairman of Janata Bank

Luna Shamsuddoha on Wednesday joined as chairman of the Janata Bank Limited (JBL).

She was a member of the Board of the bank since June 2016, said a press release.

Luna Shamsuddoha is a software entrepreneur, chairman of Dohatec New Media and managing director of Global Voice Telecommunications Ltd, reports BSS.

Dohatec was involved in the development of voter enrolment solution in 2007-2008.

Her firm developed several e-governance projects and also developed the electronic government procurement (e-GP) system.
