Shusmita Anis releases video of new song

Singer Shusmita Anis has released the music video for her latest track, 'Tomar Akash'.

The music video was released on the YouTube channel and Facebook page of Shusmita Anis in a launching programme in the capital on Monday evening, said a press release.

Renowned singer-musicians Bappa Majumdar, Hamin Ahmed and Manam Ahmed attended the programme as special guests.

Talking about the song, Shusmita Anis said, ''The number is all about the dreams, thoughts and likings of a young girl. She goes to Nepal and falls in love with her guide there. This is how the story goes on.''

Composed by Adit Rahman, the song has been written by Sohel Arman and Tanim Rahman directed the music video featuring popular model-actress Tanjin Tisha and Nepalese actor Narayan Dhakal.

Adit said that it took around six months to complete the song. ''I hope audience will love it,'' he said.

Tisha said, ''I'm happy for being a part of the song.''
