Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) is slowly resuming its busy working days after long Eid vacation.

The crews and workers enjoyed a week-long vacation after they had worked day and night before the biggest Muslim festival, which is also the occasion for releaseing many movies.

Artistes and film crews were seen greeting each other on their return to the centre of Dhaka's movie making at the end of last week.

A team of dancers were seen rehearsing on a shooting floor on Thursday. ‘Dhaka Attack’ actor Taskin Rahman was also rehearsing with them.

“The filming of the song will begin on Sunday. We will rehearse till then,” said AK Azad, the choreographer.

Being the weekend, Friday was a bit dull while it regained life on Saturday.

A group of actors were seen in costumes of police on BFDC compound shooting for a sequence from a film titled “Dohon” directed by Raihan Rafi.

Actor Siam Ahmed who was wearing a prisoner’s  costume is the lead actor in the film while  Zakia Bari Mamo will appear as the female lead.

When asked, director Raihan Rafi did not want to disclose the storyline at the time.

Siam is much known for ‘Poramon 2’ that has been released on Eid. ‘Poramon 2’ too was directed by Raihan Rafi.

Taskin Rahman was seen shooting for a song for the film ‘Boyfriend’ in floor number-9 on Sunday. Newcomer Riya Khan was also on the shooting spot at the time with assistant directors and choreographer.

This is how the hub of Dhallywood films is gaining momentum.
