Nor'wester likely Friday in 15 districts

Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Thursday issued a Nor'wester squall warning for 15 districts across the country.

The districts are Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogura, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Jashore, Kushtia, Khulna, Cumilla and Sylhet.

A press release of the Meteorological department said that rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary nor'wester squalls speeding up to 60-80 kilometer per hour are likely to occur at many places over the country in the next 12 hours commencing around 3:00pm on Friday.
