Awful batting display continues

Bangladesh top-order batsmen failed to do anything big once again on Thursday as they lost four wickets inside the first 15 overs in the warm-up match against Cricket South Africa Invitation XI at Bloemfontein.

The Tigers now have 83 for 4 after 18 overs, with Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah in the crease.

Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe bin Mortaza won the toss and elected to bat first, and Imrul Kayes looked to be on song, but Robbie Frylinck struck in consecutive balls to remove Soumya and Imrul to unsettle the Tigers.

Soumya only managed three while Liton Das eight. Imrul's 27 and Mushfiqur Rahim's 22 averted further damage, but the latter's failure to make it big like his fellow batsmen meant they were not in a comfortable position.
