Miraz brace keeps Windies in check

Mehedi Hasan Miraz grabbed two wickets to keep bangladesh in a decent position at the end of the first session on the first day of the second Test against West Indies on Thursday.

The spinner first removed Devon Smith thanks to a Mominul Haque catch with the score on 9 and then trapped Kieran Powell (29) leg before when the hosts were on 59.

West Indies now have 73 for 2 at the end of the first session with opener Kraigg Brathwaite on 33 and Shai Hope on 11.
