DU inks MoU with Taiwanese university

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed recently between Dhaka University (DU) and Yuan Ze University, Taiwan to foster international cooperation in education and research sectors.

DU treasurer Md Kamal Uddin and Yuan Ze University vice-president Chih-Min Lin singed the MoU on behalf of their respective universities at the vice-chancellor's lounge on the campus, said a DU press release.

DU VC Md Akhtaruzzaman and some other faculties of Yuan Ze University were present at the function, among others.

According to the MoU, the two universities will exchange faculty members, researchers and students. They will share educational and research materials, publications and academic information.

They also would undertake collaborative academic, research, training and dual degree programmes under the MoU.
