‘Bhuban Majhi’ to be screened at IU

Bhuban Majhi'Bhuban Majhi', a film based on the 1971 liberation war, will be screened at Islamic University (IU) on Saturday, says news agency UNB. 

Islamic University Film Society, IU Theatre, Hridoye Bangladesh and Lonthon will organise the show at Bir Shrestha Hamidur Rahman Auditorium of the university at 10:30am.

The film will be screened twice.

IU vice-chancellor professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari is expected to attend the programme as chief guest.

Pro-VC professor M Shahinoor Rahman and treasurer professor Selim Toha will be present as special guests.

Besides, film director Fakhrul Arefin Khan, actor Majnun Mijan and actress Oporna Ghosh will also be present during the screening.
