Science fest held at DU

The Dhaka University Science Society (DUSS) conducted a daylong science festival at Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) on the campus.

Science and technology minister Yeafesh Osman joined the prize giving ceremony as chief guest at TSC auditorium while DU vice-chancellor professor AAMS Arefin Siddique presided over it on Friday evening, said a DU release on Saturday.

DU pro vice-chancellor (academic) professor Nasreen Ahmad and Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering department professor Lafifa Jamal were present on the occasion, among others.

Earlier, DU pro-VC (administration) professor Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the daylong festival in the morning.
