DU, GIGCAS ink MOU

With a view to establishing supportive collaboration between Dhaka University (DU) and Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (GIGCAS) a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Monday. 

DU treasurer Md Kamal Uddin and GIGCAS director Gan Zhang signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides, said a press release.

DU vice-chancellor (VC) Akhtaruzzaman, Science faculty dean professor Md Abdul Aziz and Chemistry department chairman professor Md Azizur Rahman, among others, were present in the meeting held at VC lounge, added the release. 

Under the MoU, teachers, researchers, students and publications and documents on education and research would be exchanged between the two institutions.
