BPSC recommends 284 for first-class non-cadre posts

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Thursday recommended the recruitment of 284 candidates of the 36th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination with the status of first class non-cadre officials, reports UNB.

The recommendation has been made as per the amended Non-cadre Posts Recruitment Rules 2014, said a BPSC handout.

The BPSC has also published the registration numbers of the selected candidates for the posts on its website.

Of them, 102 have been selected as social service officer, while 25 made assistant engineer and upazila engineer, 44 categories including 18 assistant surgeon posts under the ministry of railways.

The result is available on the BPSC website www.bpsc.gov.bd.

BPSC chairman Muhammed Sadique said the candidates have been recommended for the first class status. Later, candidates will be recommended from the list for second class status.

He also said that a total 2650 among 3308 candidates, passed the 36th BCS examination, applied for non-cadre post.

The final results of the 36th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Examinations were published on 17 October, 2017.

Some 2,323 examinees were recommended for various cadre positions.
