Training on earning from Facebook at IU

A two-day training titled 'Boost Your Business with Facebook' began at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Sunday with a view to using Facebook as a source of business, reports UNB.

Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Ministry and Islamic University jointly orgnaised the training at Birshrestha Hamidur Rahman Auditorium of the university.

IU vice-chancellor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari inaugurated the training programme as chief guest around 10:00am while IU pro-VC M Shahinoor Rahman, treasurer Prof M Selim Toha and IU proctor Prof M Mahbubar Rahman addressed the opening ceremony as special guests with director of IU Computer Centre Paresh Chandra Barman in the chair.

Around 2,000 teachers and students of the university are attending the training.
