HSC Geography exam deferred to 14 May

The geography second paper examination of the ongoing Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations has been deferred to 14 May as question paper mistakenly reached examination centre a day before the scheduled date of Monday.

The examination controller of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, Tapan Kumar Sarkar confirmed this to Prothom Alo on Sunday.

The authorities, he said, took the decision of deferring the examination as the question paper mistakenly reached a centre at Durgapur in Netrokona on Sunday and the packet was opened.

The HSC and equivalent examinations began on 2 April.
