Rajshahi rules in SSC results

The Rajshahi Education Board has secured the top position while Sylhet the worst one among the eight general education boards in terms of pass percentage rate in this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.

According to the results published on Sunday, the highest 86.07 per cent students passed the public examination from Rajshahi while lowest 70.42 per cent from Sylhet.

Some 194,775 students sat for the SSC examination from Rajshahi board with 166,865 coming out successful. Of the successful students, 19,498 achieved GPA-5.

On the other hand, 108,928 students appeared at the examination under Sylhet board and 76,710 of them emerged successfull. Among those passed the examination, 3,191 got the highest grade point.
