Bangladesh to send 850 teachers, students in China

A total of 50 teachers and 800 students will go to China soon to take technical education there.

The students will study in three-year diploma engineering while the teachers will obtain bachelor, master and PhD degrees, said an official release on 10 July.

A 44-member Chinese delegation, including representatives from the government and 17 Chinese educational institutions, are now selecting the scholarship awardees in Bangladesh, the release added.

Last year, 308 students got enrolled in 10 Chinese educational institutions with scholarship.
