4 of a family found dead in Cox’s Bazar
Police recovered bodies of four members of a family from their residence at Goledighirpar of Cox’s Bazar municipality on Wednesday.
The deceased are Suman Chowdhury, 40, a cosmetics shop owner of the area, his wife Baby Chowdhury and their two daughters - Abantika Chowdhury, 5, and Jhoti Chowdhury, 3.
Raj Bihari, Suman’s neighbour, also counsellor of Cox’s Bazar municipality, said that finding no response from the house, the neighbours broke the door in the evening and found four bodies in the house, reports UNB.
“Suman was found hanging while those of his wife and two daughters were found lying on the floor.”
Cox's Bazar sadar model police station officer-in-charge Ranjit Kumar Barua said on information police recovered the bodies from the house.
Primarily, it is being suspected that Suman killed his wife and daughters and later committed suicide, the OC said.
