45 Rohingyas arrested in Chattogram
A number of Rohingyas, who had escaped from the camp in Cox’s Bazar, were arrested from a house in Keshabpur Molla area in Sitakunda upazila of Chattogram around Tuesday midnight, reports UNB.
Acting on tip-off, police raided the house of one Mobarak Saudagar and arrested 45 Rohingyas, said Shamim Sheikh, officer-in-charge of Sitakunda police station.
The Rohingyas had escaped from the Kutupalang camp and been working at a local factory, the OC said.
