Anti-quota protesters announce fresh programme
Students of different universities and colleges on Sunday brought out a procession from Central Library of Dhaka University protesting the case filed against them.
The protesters also announced fresh programme where they will sweep the road from Dhaka University’s TSC till Shaheed Minar with brooms, their educational certificates hanging around their necks on 25 March.
On Wednesday, police brought charges against 700 unknown students who took part in the demonstration against the quota system of government jobs in Shahbagh, for obstructing law enforcers' duty and vandalising government vehicles.
Among others, Hasan Al Mamun, convener of the movement, co-convener Faruk Hossain and Ujjal Miah were present at the press conference.
