Jamaat leader’s son detained for planning ‘sabotage’ in Sylhet
Police detained an ex-councilor of Golapganj upazila from his house at Mollagram on Friday evening on charge of planning to commit acts of sabotage, reports UNB.
The detainee is Golam Mostafa Musa, 39, son of late Fazir Ali and leader of Golapganj upazila unit of Jamaat-e-Islami.
Tipped off, police raided Mostafa's house and detained him, said AK Fazlul Haque Shibly, officer-in-charge of Golapganj model police station.
