President returns home from London
President Abdul Hamid returned home from London on Monday after health checkup there.
A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the President landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 10.30 am, President's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad told UNB.
Liberation war affairs minister AKM Mozammel Huq, road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader, acting dean of Diplomatic Crops, High Commissioner of Turkey in Bangladesh Devrim Ozturk, British High Commissioner Robert Chatterson Dickson, chiefs of the three services, Inspector General of Police, Home affairs secretary (Protection), secretary (Reconstruction and Reforms) of Cabinet, secretary (maritime) of foreign ministry and other civil and military officials received the President at the VVIP Lounge of the airport.
He went to London on 31 August.
