Spotted deer rescued in Bagerhat
A spotted deer, which was believed to escape from a park during cyclonic storm Bulbul, was rescued in Fakirhat upazila of Bagerhat on Monday, reports UNB.
Police with the help of locals rescued the deer from the upazila headquarters in the morning and took it to Fakirhat police station, said Bagerhat superintendent of police Pankaj Chandra Roy.
He said locals spotted the deer while it was hovering around the police station and informed police.
Meanwhile, authorities of a park in Chandramahal area of Sadar upazila claimed that the deer escaped from their park, the SP said, adding that they would hand over it after examining necessary papers.
