Bangladeshi dies of coronavirus in Gambia

A Bangladesh national has recently died of the novel coronavirus in The Gambia, reports the Daily Post.

The Nigeria version of the media outlet on Monday (23 March) said Gambian health minister Amadou Samateh confirmed the death on national television.

Gambian minister also said, as per the report, the victim is a 70-year-old Bangladeshi man who traveled to the Gambia from Senegal 13 March.

According to the media, this was the first recorded death from the coronavirus disease out of so far three patients.
