DGHS blacklists 14 constructors on charges of corruption

On the recommendation of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has blacklisted a total of 14 contractors on charges of corruption, fraud and conspiracy, reports BSS.

The DGHS director (administration) Belal Hossain informed this in a letter on Thursday signed by him, said a press release.

The blacklisted contractors were health department’s accountant Abzal Hossain’s wife Rubina Khanam, proprietor of Rahman Trade International, Abdullah Al Mamun, proprietor of Messrs Anik Traders, Munshi Farrukh Hossain of Messrs Ahmed Enterprise, Manzoor Ahmed of Messrs Manila Medicine and Messrs SK Traders, Mosaddek Hossain of MH Pharma, Md Joynal Abedin of Messrs Ovi Drugs, Alamgir Hossain of Messrs Albira Pharmacy, Md Mintu of SM Traders, Md Abdus Sattar Sarkar and Md Ahsan Habib of Messrs Mercantile Trade International, Jaher Uddin Sarkar of Bengal Scientific and Surgical Company, Md Asadur Rahman of Universal Trade Corporation, Managing Director and CEO of ASL Aftab Ahmed and Owner of Blair Aviation Moksedul Islam.
