Bangladeshi jailed in Malaysia
A Bangladeshi national on Monday was sentenced to jail for seven months in Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur, reports the Malaysian Digest.Com.
The accused is Harun Or Rashid, 40.
According to the Malaysian media, the Sepang Sessions Court of Kuala Lumpur landed the Bangladeshi to jail for allegedly keeping 238 passports in his possession without permission from the authorities concerned.
The report said the 40-year-old Harun was detained from HMM Maju Sah Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur at 5.30pm on 4 January.
