Embassy looks for relatives of 2 plane crash victims
Bangladesh embassy in Nepal has asked the relatives of two US-Bangla plane crash victims to contact with the embassy.
The embassy identified the victims as Bilkis Ara and Piyash Roy who died in the crash.
Publishing photos, names and passport numbers of the two victims, the embassy has sought assistance to find their relatives.
The embassy authorities have collected their pictures taken during the immigration in Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
Al Alimul Islam Imam, head of chancery at the Bangladesh embassy in Nepal said that, no relatives of Bilkis Ara and Piyash Roy have so far communicated with them since the US-Bangla plane crashed in Nepal on Monday, killing 49 out of 71 passengers including four crewmembers.
According to Prothom Alo, Piyash Roy was a final year student of Gopalganj Medical College and a member of Prothom Alo's Bandhusabha (Friends Club). But details of Bilkis are yet to be known.
